My name is Syd, I am a visual communicator.

Hi, I'm Sydney. For over a decade, I've worked as a communications and marketing consultant with organizations including Pomeroy Kananaskis Nordic Spa, STARS Critical Care, Sproule, SMART Technologies, and Community Natural Foods, and I continue to take on select consulting projects today.

Alongside that work, I'm pursuing my Master of Counselling Psychology at City University of Seattle, graduating in July 2027. It's a deliberate pivot, but not an unrelated one: the golden thread of listening closely, building trust, and meeting individuals, groups, and organizations where they are - is what drew me to this next chapter. That pull toward this work took root through volunteering, including several months spent supporting survivors of human trafficking with NASHI Our Children in Poland, and more recently as a participant observer with a local grief therapy group.

I'm grateful to be building a life and career that lets me hold both worlds at once.
